It seems stars are in favor of Maryam Zakaria as she is gaining her fair share on Bollywood. Her hunt for a full-fledged role had come to an end with bagging the same in a Hindi movie. After doing item songs as ‘Dil Mera Muft Ka’ in Agent Vinod and ‘Pritam Pyare’ in Rowdy Rathore she is now turning an actress.
The Iranian-Swedish actress will be sharing screen space with Aftab Shivadasani in a forthcoming Hindi movie. A source says, “After watching her earlier work, director Inder Kumar signed Maryam as the main lead opposite Aftab. Though she’s fromSweden, she’s fluent in Hindi and dubs for her own films, so that’s an added advantage.”
Maryam has shifted her base to Mumbai to focus on her Bollywood career. She is too happy to bag the role and act with some fine actors.
“Yes, I’m playing one of the leads in the sequel to Masti. Naturally, I am super-excited about my role as I will be portraying a seductive teacher,” informs Maryam.
