Mere Brother Ki Dulhan

How the charismatic couple casts a spell on the audience is yet to be seen nevertheless the gossip galleries are already abuzz! All set to hit the theaters on 9^th September, ‘Mere Brother ki Dulhan’ is an upcoming Bollywood film that marks the writing and directing debut of Ali Abbas Zafar.

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan stars Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and Ali Zafar in the lead roles. Produced and distributed by Yash Raj Films, the film is a romantic comedy set around a love triangle. Recently an official theatrical trailer was released on July 13th. And very soon the audience would be able to watch the movie after its release in September.

‘Mere Brother ki Dulhan’ happens to be a “topsy-turvy story” set amongst upper middle class families in northern India. It would be great to see Imran Khan playing a character who falls in love with his brother’s (Ali Zafar) fiancée (Katrina Kaif). A special attraction of the movie is a remarkable cameo doen by John Abraham.

Katrina’s role is disclosed to be entirely different than characters she’s played so far, and alternatively described as a ‘friendly, simple Delhi girl’ or a ‘rebel with a grungy punk look’. She would be donning some tattoos in the film.

The entire film has been shot in different locations of north India including Delhi, Pataudi, Agra, Dehradun, Mussoorie, Haridwar, Dhanaulti, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Imran’s ‘Delhi Belly’ and Kaif’s ‘Zindagi na Milegi dobara’ are a recent hits of Bollywood. In such a scenario ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ apparantly seems alluring. However, the final verdict would come when the film releases and audience like or dislike the film.

Nonetheless, the film would be a treat for the movie buffs for sure.
