Welcome January 2011 in a grand style with a fast paced thriller movie set in the web and hub of political power, New Delhi. The movie is ‘No One Killed Jessica’ based on the real story of Jessica Lal murder. It is the story of two women who relentlessly endeavors to seek justice and their efforts mobilize entire India and prove that democracy has greater power as compared to the executives and bureaucrats.  Hence the power of people is great.

The movie is woven round the real story of Jessica when the War at Cargill was going on and entire nation was ablaze with the war. At such times the capital of the nation was witnessing a celebrity party at which a young charming model Jessica was trying her hand at bartending and was shot dead. Why? The lady was innocent and had only refused to serve the drink after the closing hours. In a fit of rage the arrogant son of an eminent politician named Manish, pulls the trigger of the gun. He was completely drunk and intoxicated by a cocktail of alcohol and a sense of power.

Almost 300 people from Delhi witnessed the murder but due to Manish everyone goes to scaffold. Two women, Jessica’s sister Sabrina and the aggressive TV journalist Meera try to seek from the judiciary system of India and try to put in all resources for putting Manish behind the bars only if they could beat the corrupt system and overcome the dirty game of politics, power and money. In the movie Rani plays the journalist and Vidya plays Sabrina, Jessica’s sister.
