The good news for the movie buffs and the fans of Akshay and Katrina is that December 2010 is ending on a superb note. A much awaited project of Choreographer turned director Farah Khan, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ is bringing the excellent Jodi of Akshay and Katrina once again together on the silver screen after a gap of almost three four years. ‘Tees Maar Khan’ is a project that has everything to entertain you and keep you glued to the screen. It has a promising star cast, gaudy outfits, fictional lovable characters, brazen set-designs and peppy music.
Farah has delivered two back to back hits ‘Main Hoon Na’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’ with her one of the best pals, Sharukh Khan. But this time she has chosen Akshay Kumar for the romantic comedy. Now what magic will the chemistry of Farah and Akshay create on silver screen is yet to be tested by the audiences on 24th December. As for now, the film is gaining popularity among the fans followers of the actor, actress and director.
The movie is about a criminal who is fearless and has no shame in what he does. He is popularly addressed as ‘Tees Maar Khan’. This character of shameless criminal is essayed by Akshay Kumar alias Tabrez Mirza Khan whereas Katrina plays his girlfriend and wannabe-actress Anya.
He is adept and smart enough to make a fool of everyone. He steals, swindles, and deceives with much perfection and boldness. The gang that he runs includes Soda, Dollar and Burger. The members of the gang are powerful enough to keep the police, law and order under their toe.
The crucial time in Akshay’s life come when international antique smugglers, the Johri Brothers, hire Akshay for the biggest defraud in his life. They ask him to steal off antiques worth 500 crore rupees from a heavily guarded moving train.
The thrilling journey of this con begins when Akshay plans to steal the antiques. Will this Khan be successful in robbing off the antiques and if yes then how? This would be quite amusing for the audience.
The music of the film is contemporary with the hit numbers. The item song by Katrina, ‘Sheila ki Jawani’ has already been ruling the chartbusters. And amazingly Sonu Nigam has rendered 54 different voices in the title track of the film.
With these elements ‘Tees Maar Khan’ appears to be complete entertainer with power packed performances.
