Aamir is a true versatile person. This star has always done something new and creative and has seen new heights of success. Recently he has organized a success party to celebrate the gala success that ‘D.K. Bose’ song from Delhi Belly has got. Aamir is not a party animal but if he has celebrated the song’s success and this might have some substance to it.
Thrilled by the popularity of the song Kiran Rao, Aamir’s wife, has termed it an anthem. Excitedly Kiran reported to a tabloid, “We are happy that people liked this song so much. It has become an anthem in such a short span. It was an idea that came from the brain of our writer Akshat Verma and then Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics and Ram Sampath composed it brilliantly”.
Even Imran was excited about the whole episode. He knew his song would become famous but so much popularity it would gain… he never thought of it. “When I had heard this song, I knew that it will be liked, but I never thought that it will become such a rage. I’m happy with the concept of a party for the success of this song,” said Imran.
The party had a great gathering and everyone was seen rejoicing for the success. The attendees included director Abhinay Deo, co-producer Ronnie Screwvala, the cast Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor and other members of the film.
The icing on the cake was the live performance of Ram Sampath who play the unplugged versions of the film’s songs, including “Nakkadwale disco” and “Bedardi raja” along with his band, ending with a splendid performance of “D.K. Bose” with Imran, Vir and Kunal providing backing vocals.
Though these guys are celebrating the success of the song but there are some people who didn’t like the lyrics of the song. And that unhappy person with the lyrics of D.K. Bose is the director of Ra. One, Anubhav Sinha.
Anubhav is disappointed and has expressed it now when the song has already became so popular. He is agitated as he is worried to face embarrassment if his nine year old son, Shloka, would be humming the song around him, his family and friends. He says, “We know what it sounds like when you say the words DK Bose over and over again. Aamir is a responsible man and he should have been aware of it.”
Whatever it is, but one thing is sure, that the song is enjoying popularity among masses.
