Gemma Atkinson is better known for her lingerie modeling and her television presence. But recently she has replaced the Mexican actress Barbara Mori for an upcoming Bollywood film of Rajeev Jhaveri titled Fever.
Gemma Atkinson says she loved the script of the film to the extent that she immediately deiced to take the plunge. Earlier the actress has acted in crime drama ‘Bill’. Now she is all set to make her debut in Rajeev Jhaveri’s venture named ‘Fever’.
Revealing about her Bollywood film venture, she said, “I loved the script. It has everything: love, murder and action. The Bollywood film industry is so glamorous. For me, it was about discovering another side and seeing how things in Bollywood are done.”
Gemma Atkinson is learning Hindi for her Bollywood entry. And preparing for her new venture she has hired a tutor for learning Hindi. Talking about her pains to pick up the language she says that Hindi is not that easy to learn, the language is hard to learn for her.
The lingerie model is gearing up herself to woo the hearts of Bollywood fans. These days she is working on her diction and says, “I’m still not fluent but I understand my lines in the script, which is important. I want my lines to come across well on-screen.”
Gemma has no reservation so for doing steamy hot scenes in the film if the script of the film demands so. Gemma is not aware that she is replacing Barbara Mori in the film. She says, “There are many ways to show people being in love on screen and Fever is more about the perceived sexual tension than the physical sex. Rajeev is shooting this movie so beautifully that I’m sure the sex scenes will be done tastefully.”
