Katrina Kaif is in news these days for the sensational chemistry she has shared on screen with Hrithik Roshan is her upcoming film ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’. It is known that the film is ready for relese and at this point of time editing some part of the film may not be possible for the makers also because of the undue advantage of publicity that film is gathering for the hot kissing scene between Katrina and Hrithik.
More than Katrina, Hrithik is worried about the sizzling kissing sequence of the film and wants that part of the movie should be edited. He has just got back from a grueling month-long schedule of Agneepath in Diu. After coming back he is seen exerting pressure on Zoya Akhtar, director of the film to tone down the sizzling chemistry between Katrina Kaif and him and leave a steamy kiss out on the editing table.
When contacted Hrithik rubbished the rumors saying, “The song revolves around five friends (Katrina, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Kalki and Hrithik) and there are no moments between Katrina and me there. But yes, there’s a kiss and I believe that if you’re going to risk your life and jump off a building, you bloody well should make it look convincing.”
Further adding he said, “Unless you are honest during such moments of physical intimacy, you will appear uncomfortable and guilty on screen. When you see the lead pair in an English movie kissing, it’s rarely offensive or ‘a bit much’. That’s because of the conviction in their performance.”
So what about the creative difference between him and Zoya? He refuses to admit any kind of difference with his lady director. He doesn’t forget to make a point that she’s the only director, apart from his dad (Rakesh Roshan), with whom he’s done two movies — Luck By Chance (2009) and ZNMD, and the only female director he’s worked with: “Zoya is an artiste who doesn’t feel the need to conform to a herd mentality. She is always thinking out of the box and trying to figure out how to do things differently,” he says.
Hrithik admits that he’s always wanted to take a road trip but it wasn’t till he piled into a car with ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ co-stars that he experienced the heady joy of seeing the world. “After the intense Guzaarish (2010), it was a welcome break. Now I can’t wait to go off on one again. My last proper vacation was in 2003, I need another,” he laughs. “May be next October Sussanne and I will take a road trip through Europe. Of course, the boys, Hrehaan and Hredhaan, will come along. Having them around will add to the fun.”
